Module Information
Our ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System (EMS) Awareness Course is designed to introduce you to the basics of setting up an EMS—from understanding the areas of commitment of your top management to learning how to implement a life cycle perspective. Get up to speed on the essential requirements of an environmental policy and what factors you should consider when documenting information required by the standard. In this course, you will gain an in-depth knowledge of EMS through the convenience of self-paced learning.
By the end of this module you will have:
- Understand key concepts contained in ISO 14001:2015
- Recognize factors you should consider when documenting information required by the standard
- Explain the need for Environmental Management Systems (EMS)
- Discuss the fundamental concepts used in EMS
- Explain the terminology used in EMS
- Outline the benefits of ISO 14001 for stakeholders
- Identify who is responsible for developing the ISO 14001 standard

Once you have completed the pre-training survey, training module and knowledge check, you can download your personalised certificate for your records.
Please note that only one certificate is available per login, and one module per delegate is required. If you need to train more than 20 people, please contact us for details of our multi-user licence.
